Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Sensei Sigma Inc (“Sensei Sigma,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Sensei Sigma mobile application, website, and related services (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, a password (stored in hashed form), and any profile details you choose to provide, such as a display name.

Activity and gameplay information. We collect information generated by your use of the Platform, including challenge entries and results, simulated trade selections, scores and rankings, quiz responses, virtual currency balances and transactions (Practice Coins and Earned Coins), learning progress, and reward redemptions. All trading activity on the Platform is simulated; we do not collect brokerage account information, and no real trading data exists on the Platform.

Purchase information.Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google Play, depending on which platform you use. We receive transaction confirmations (such as product, price tier, and subscription status) but never your payment card details.

Device and technical information. We automatically collect your IP address, device type and operating system, app version, identifiers assigned to your device or account, and log data such as timestamps of actions and error reports.

Approximate location. We derive your approximate location (state level) from your IP address at the time of certain actions. We use this solely to enforce legal eligibility requirements — some features, including challenge entry, virtual currency purchases, and reward redemption, are unavailable in certain US states. We do not collect precise GPS location.

Referral information. If you refer another user or are referred, we collect the information needed to attribute the referral and grant the associated Practice Coins.

Communications. If you contact us, we collect the contents of your message and your contact details.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate the Platform: creating your account, running challenges, calculating scores and rankings server-side, maintaining virtual currency balances, and fulfilling rewards.
  • To enforce legal eligibility: verifying your approximate location at the time of gated actions and applying age and state-based restrictions.
  • To protect the Platform: detecting and preventing fraud, multiple-account abuse, challenge manipulation, and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • To communicate with you: service messages, reward confirmations, and — where permitted — product updates you can opt out of.
  • To improve the Platform: understanding how features are used and diagnosing technical problems.
  • To comply with law: meeting legal, regulatory, tax, and record-keeping obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Reward fulfillment. When you redeem a gift card reward, we share your registered email address and the reward amount with Tremendous, the third-party rewards platform that issues and delivers gift cards. Tremendous processes this information to fulfill your reward and is not permitted to use it for other purposes.
  • Service providers. We use third-party providers for cloud hosting and market data. Providers receive only the information needed to perform their services. Market data providers supply data to us and do not receive your personal information.
  • Apple and Google Play. Purchase and subscription processing is handled by Apple or Google Play, depending on your device, under their respective terms and privacy policies..
  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sensei Sigma, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. If Sensei Sigma is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy’s commitments.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain required records of reward fulfillment, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described in Section 6, after which we delete or de-identify your information except where retention is required by law.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed password storage, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices and Rights

  • Access and deletion. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or request deletion of your account and associated information, by contacting us at the address in Section 9. We will respond as required by applicable law.
  • Correction. You can update your account details in the app, or contact us for help correcting inaccurate information.
  • Marketing opt-out. You can opt out of non-essential communications via the unsubscribe link in those messages or by contacting us.
  • State privacy rights. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, such as the right to know, delete, or correct personal information and the right to non-discrimination for exercising those rights. We honor such requests as required by applicable law, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Children

The Platform is intended for users 18 years of age and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last Updated date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Platform after an updated Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
